Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: May 17, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the rules that all users of FrameDesk, operated by PERCEPTION GROUP BV, must follow. It supplements our Terms of Service and applies to every user, Workspace and integration. Violations may lead to immediate suspension or termination of your account, without refund.

1. No spam or unsolicited communication

  • Do not use FrameDesk (or any email features, mass-mail tools or templates) to send unsolicited bulk email, SMS or other commercial messages.
  • Comply with applicable anti-spam law (e.g. GDPR, ePrivacy Directive, Belgian Economic Law Code Book VI, CAN-SPAM, CASL).
  • Always include a clear sender identity and a working unsubscribe option.

2. No illegal content or activity

  • Do not store, transmit or share content that is illegal under Belgian or EU law, including but not limited to: child sexual abuse material, incitement to violence or hatred, terrorist content, or content that infringes third-party intellectual property.
  • Do not use the Service for any activity that violates export controls, sanctions or financial-crime regulations.

3. No reverse-engineering or platform abuse

  • Do not reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble or attempt to derive the source code of FrameDesk.
  • Do not build, host or sell a competing product based on the FrameDesk software, brand or design.
  • Do not attempt to access another Workspace's data, gain unauthorised access, or escalate privileges within the platform.

4. No scraping or unauthorised automation

  • Do not scrape, crawl or harvest data from the Service (including the marketing website and the application) without prior written consent.
  • Use the public API only within its documented rate limits and for the intended use cases.
  • Do not run automated processes (bots, scripts, RPA) that materially degrade the performance of the Service for other users.

5. Respect quotas and fair use

  • Honour the documented limits of your plan (users, projects, storage, email volume, API calls, AI credits).
  • Do not attempt to circumvent quota enforcement, create artificial accounts to multiply free trials, or share a single account across multiple businesses.
  • Heavy users may be asked to upgrade to a plan that better reflects their consumption.

6. Responsible use of AI features

  • Do not use AI features to generate content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, discriminatory or that misleads recipients about its origin (e.g. impersonating real people without consent).
  • Do not use AI features to generate misleading deepfakes, identity-fraud material, or to re-identify pseudonymised personal data.
  • You remain responsible for the content you create, send or publish via AI-assisted features.
  • Do not attempt to extract, copy or otherwise misuse model prompts, weights, embeddings or other proprietary artefacts of underlying AI providers.

7. Security & integrity

  • Do not probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Service without prior written consent, and do not run penetration tests or red-team exercises against production systems.
  • Report any security issue responsibly to info@framedesk.app. Do not publicly disclose vulnerabilities before they are fixed.
  • Do not introduce malware, viruses, worms or other malicious code into the Service.

8. Enforcement

Where a violation is identified, we may, depending on severity and context, take any of the following actions: send a warning, throttle the offending Workspace, suspend specific features (e.g. email or AI), temporarily disable the account, or terminate the subscription without refund. For serious violations we may also report the matter to the competent authorities.

9. Reporting abuse

If you believe a FrameDesk user is violating this policy, please report it to info@framedesk.app with as much detail as possible (URLs, screenshots, headers). We treat abuse reports confidentially and respond as quickly as practical.

10. Changes

We may update this AUP from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the current version. Material changes will be announced in advance via email or in-app.
